Jupiter Artland approached Tessa Lynch to produce an artwork as part of GENERATION. Lynch responded with a large scale modular structure to be set in the grounds of Jupiter Art lands Sculpture Park. The Structure that has the same footprint as an average sized UK home refers to an ancient law which indicates that if one could build a small cottage and have a fire lit in the hearth before sunset you could keep the land.

An initial consultation process between Lynch and the GSS Fabrication led to fabrication drawings being produced to be approved by the artist. The structure was fabricated on the grounds of GSS Fabrication in three sections and then transported to Jupiter Artland along with the modular frames.
