ARTWORK Vionnet and ethical capitalism

GSS Fabrication was commissioned by Monster Chetwynd to design and build a modular platform that incorporated steel cacti used as armatures for the artist to dress. The artwork was the backdrop for the performance Vionnet and ethical capitalism, 2018 as part of the opening Le Centre national des arts plastiques (Cnap) new gallery space.

From the artists conceptual model, GSS produced steel armatures using the CNC plasma with timber bases mounted on trolley wheels.
