Druim nan Linntean, Gaelic for ‘ridge of ages’, is the Skye Ecomuseum, an outdoor museum consisting of around 50 installations between the Old Man of Storr to the Quiraing and Flodigarry. The ecomuseum presents stories of the past, use of the land, local flora and fauna and encourage you; the local, the hillwalker, the tourist, to explore its hidden waterfalls, dinosaur footprints and traditional ways of life.
Following a detailed design process Lateral North worked with Glasgow Sculpture Studios to fabricate corten steel and timber structures which will settle into the landscape and present the history, culture and nature from throughout this ridge of ages.
